Bratwurst Grilled Cheese Recipe
When I consider Oktoberfest I consider young ladies in charming dirndl, monster steins of lager, and wieners: as it were, all great things. Tragically you practically need to go to Germany to get the genuine experience. I’ve attempted here, however I have a sneaking suspicion that it’s simply not the same. A couple of years back, two or three companions and I went to an arbitrary German alehouse wanting to get in on some Oktoberfest activity and the outcome was not exactly of course. This year, to maintain a strategic distance from dissatisfaction, we’re going to stock up on some weisse coffin and flame broil up a bundle of these sandwiches. I attempted to consider every one of the things I adore about German nourishment and thought of: wurst, pretzels, potatoes, and mustard. Thus the pretzel-bread, lager mustard, bratwurst, caramelized onions and gruyère flame broiled cheddar was conceived.
I must say, pretzel bread is my new most loved bread to flame broil. It’s a small piece malty, a tad bit salty and when you flame broil it, the complexity between the rich crunch and the delicate pretzel-y internal parts is thus, so great. Of late I’ve been flame broiling it up and eating it slathered with lager mustard – pretzels and mustard.
